Year five Dolphins really enjoyed learning about changes that happen to us as we age. They asked many honest questions. 

Year Five Dolphins really enjoyed designing their own environments for their games in Computing this week!

Year 6 went to the YMCA today to take part in a fitness session linked to our Science topic, Animals including Humans: The Circulatory System, Diet and Exercise. A great time was had by all! 

Year 6 went on a trip to Dovedale as part of our Out and About Week. This linked to our geography fieldwork study, where we got to see human features of geography including river features, different terrain and the joyous British weather! 

In computing we have been using simulation programs to help us problem solve and evaluate our decisions. Today we were in training to become astronauts, we had to go through a series of tasks to help our comrades.

Today we have had an entrepreneurship day in Year 6 Whales! We learned all about what it takes to be a part of team, what a good team manager looks like and what will happen if you have a catchy slogan for your product! We have created adverts for our own brand of lemonade, researched recipes and…

Year 5 and 6 participated in their sports day today, which saw us take part in a range of activities including sprints, obstacle course and javelin. I am so proud of each and every child today for showing determination to finish each race. Here are just some of our competitors!

Year five Dolphins polished their arithmetic skills today, using a layout WAGOLL to help them. 

Year five Dolphins have been investigating how to correctly read two-way tables today.  They have learnt and used vocabulary such as catogories, rows and columns to aid them in explaining their understanding of their work. Brilliant!
