Welcome to Year 6 Whales.
In Year 6 Whales class, the class teachers are Miss Selman and Miss Marsh. We love to learn and we are proud to show our fantastic understanding. Please visit our blog below to see our wonderful learning. Parents, you can contact the teacher using the 'contact the teacher' form with any question or queries. We will be pleased to help.
I am Miss Selman the Class Teacher and Miss Marsh is our Teaching Assistant. I have been teaching for just over 2 years now and Y6 Whales are my first Y6 class having taught Y4 the year before! I also lead Art at Waterside and have really enjoyed implementing a new Art scheme across the school. Miss Marsh has been at Waterside a lot longer than myself having been at the school for 11 years working across a range of year groups. Miss Marsh also runs Nurture interventions across KS2 after taking on a Nurture role at the start of the year. We are both committed to supporting the children achieve the best they can across the Y6 curriculum.
