I am Miss Edwards the Class Teacher in Stingrays and Mrs Myatt is our teaching assistant working across year 4. During my time at Waterside I have taught across various year groups, with my favourite subject being English. Mrs Myatt was the teaching assistant in year 3 last year so the children already know her very well and she is so excited to be with the children in year 4 this year. We are all committed to supporting the children to achieve the best they can across the Y4 curriculum.
In our classroom, we have our English display which is updated based on the book focus for that half term.
We have a maths facts board. Currently our maths facts board focuses on times tables as in year 4 they complete a multiplication check. This will be updated with other important maths information that the children can refer back to during lessons.
One of our favourite display boards is our 'The Tin Forest' display. This board celebrates children's writing, thoughts throughout the story and their artwork.
