Healthy hearts
Sharks creating model hearts using a plastic cup, balloon and water with red food colouring. Our favourite part was when the blood splurged out of the blood vessels (straws!)
Freeze-frame fun
Today we had lots of fun role playing and freeze framing our new story of Little Red Riding Hood. The children all got into role and thought about the actions and behaviours of each of they characters.
Democracy
Today we voted for our first class text. We chose 4 different books, read the titles and blurbs and then had a post it note to vote for the one we wanted to read. We can’t wait to read Dave the Pigeon every day after our lunchtime break with Mrs Myatt :)
Our fist week in Nursery
Our first 3 days in Nursery were so fun! We met our new teachers, made new friends and explored all of the different areas in our classroom and outside!
I hope you all had as much fun as I did and I can't wait to see you for our first full week on Monday.
Zentangle Drawing!
Wow, for enrichment morning, we have created some incredible Zentangle patterns. We have enjoyed learning all about these patterns and having a go at drawing our own. I must say we have some very talented artists!
Maths Fun
Today we’ve enjoyed completing Maths activities for our lesson. We used our addition, subtraction and multiplication skills to solve problems, play games and to create colourful mosaics.
Sensational Statistics
Today we collected data from our class about our favourite story this year. We created a tally chart before making a huge pictogram. We learned that the most popular was The Worst Witch.
Attendance Award!
