To all parents and carers,
This week we have the amazing Harvest Assembly with the children singing songs to welcome the season. We will be collecting food tins and any toiletries this year to support the local food bank. We will also be preparing soon for our special remembrance celebrations which will be connected to the local community of Joiner Square. The children will be creating a remembrance garden in the school grounds and have chosen a nurse sculpture to remember all the people who helped during the war but also to remember the people we have lost and how nurses play such a significant role in families, at times of needs. Our children are great!
This next term we will be working with other schools in our trust to improve reading both in school and at home. We will have some school challenges with Eaton Park, Sneyd Green and Maple Court so will update you. One will be the reading at home challenge.
I hope you have found the first week of School Money useful. We will be balancing all credits and sending arrear letters to those behind on payments. Remember, we are currently still collecting cash payments at the moments.
