Funky fingers fun!
Here are our year 2s getting super creative with the play dough! We had some very interesting and detailed models!
Imperial War Museum
Year 6 visited the Imperial War Museum after studying ‘War Horse’ in our English lessons. We further extended our knowledge of how animals were helpful in the war effort through an interactive tour of the museum.
Year 6 citizenship
Year 6 completed their first citizenship task by helping out in another year group. We helped year one to plant flowers, showing friendship, respect and determination in doing so.
Marble rolling and leaf rubbings
Today we stayed inside for Forest School as it was so cold outside. We used conkers and paint to create pieces of art using conker rolling and we also used dry leaves to create leaf rubbings. We had lots of fun!
School Parliament
Today Mrs Rathbone held a whole school Parliament meeting where the members of parliament got to discuss the actions taken by each department and share their successes and impact of these. #pupilvoice #schoolparliament

Our FS funky fingers got busy with the plasticine and enjoyed making lots of shapes and figures!
Forest school - tied up in knots
Today we had lots of fun during our first Forest School session. We used sticks to create our very own pictures frames. We used string to attach the sticks together and worked hard to tie the string and make knots. Once completed we took pictures using our frames. We can’t wait for next weeks…
Stop Motion
We took part in Enrichment this morning, using Stop Motion to create short films. Using models that we created ourselves, we took pictures to create our own animations. The results were amazing! Well done everyone!
Garage Band enrichment
Our Garage Band superstars produced some fantastic music including in a dance style, acoustic and even music from other cultures.
Christmas Sing Alog
Today the Singing Superstars visited a Care home to sing some Christmas songs to the residents. The residents joined in with the singing, clapped along and some even had a little boogie. We were so proud of the children.
Den building!
Year two showed our school values today by working together in teams to create and build a den. They showed super team work, determination, communication skills and friendship by supporting and encouraging eachother.
Clay, bugs and mud!
Year 4 had great fun making clay creatures, mud paint and mini habitats for worms!
