Today we used our i pad to create pictures of hedgehogs. We used different colours and techniques to draw their spikes, spines and to add detail to our picture. 

Today we used the laptops to practice changing, the font, letter size and the colour of our font. 

Today we have created autumn leaves, we have used wax crayons to create a line drawing. Then using paint we have added colour creating a wax resistant leaves. 

Today we explored Trentmill Nature Reserve to help us with our setting description. We described what we say, what we heated and what we felt. 

In maths we used the base ten to help us flexibly partition numbers to 100. We created two groups and wrote the number sentences. This helped us see that numbers can be made up in different ways.

In computing today we used the I pads to help us search safely online. We used purple mash to search different topics and apply filters. 

Today we’ve had our first gymnastics lesson. We learnt all different gymnastic shapes including the pike, squat and dish. We had great fun practising our new skills!

In computing we have been using simulation programs to help us problem solve and evaluate our decisions. Today we were in training to become astronauts, we had to go through a series of tasks to help our comrades.

This week in history we are continuing our learning on Ancient Greece. We have looked at the Peloponnesian War which happened between the Greek city-states Sparta and Athens. The war lasted for 30 years, it ended with Athens surrendering. Sparta ordered Athens to knock down their walls but the…

This week in science we have started our new topic Plants. We looked at what plants need to survive and grow. We then conducted an experiment where we planted seeds, some have a lack of space to grow, lack of air or lack of light and we will continue to observe how they grow.

Today in Maths we recapped Lines of Symmetry, we cut out different shapes to help us to decide if the shape had a vertical line of symmetry,
