This week we have been busy competing in the official Stoke-on-Trent TTRockstars competition against other schools in the city. We have been playing during our arithmetic time and some of us have been extra busy at home too. Winners will be announced next week!

In Latin today we have learnt how to introduce ourselves! We were very interested to find out that if we were a girl our names would end in ‘a’ and if we were boys our name ended in ‘us’

Today we have been using our iPads to partition numbers into their place values, we then looked at different ways we could represent our partitions to reinforce our knowledge and confidence

Year five Dolphins have been investigating how to correctly read two-way tables today.  They have learnt and used vocabulary such as catogories, rows and columns to aid them in explaining their understanding of their work. Brilliant!
